Sessions
I primarily meet with students via Zoom from my home office. Virtual sessions allow students to meet from the comfort of their home, or other locations such as school, without the time commitment of commuting or risk of traffic. I’ve specifically designed my home office to meet students’ virtual learning needs.
Students in the Richmond area also have the option of in-person sessions with select availability.
Sessions are typically scheduled for 1 hour, but longer sessions are also offered. Shorter sessions are common for organizational/EF sessions, but are generally not recommended for academics or test prep.
The best results come when meeting routinely. Students are encouraged to meet with me at least once weekly per subject during the school year or prep period. While routine is important, I also do my best to practice flexibility in scheduling and rescheduling to accommodate students’ busy schedules.
There is no contract or obligation to continue ongoing sessions. However, due to high demand for rescheduling sessions or fitting in additional sessions, ample advance notice of cancellations is requested so that I have the opportunity to place students. While illness, emergencies, and other surprise scheduling conflicts are unavoidable, missed sessions or day-of cancellations may result in charges for the scheduled session.
Billing
To simplify the billing process, invoices are sent out monthly for the previous month’s sessions. Clients will receive a digital invoice via email, which will support a variety payment options including bank transfer (preferred), all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, and PayPal.
Payment for all invoices is due 30 days from the date the invoice is sent.
